Hi! My name is Dana Konick and I’m a Personal Stylist and Costume Designer living in Atlanta, GA. I value people, their experiences, their needs, and the stories they have to tell. I would describe myself as creative, warm, and a little bit quirky.
As a Costume Designer for film + TV, I’ve been developing the best ways to communicate who a person is through their wardrobe for more than 17 years. You can check out some of my past projects here. Throughout that time I’ve worked with every body type, more color pallets than I can count, and covered every time period since Adam and Eve, not to mention a few made-up fantastical worlds! I’ve mulled over textiles and color wheels, read books, articles, and vintage catalogs to fill my mind with knowledge and feed my soul with inspiration.
While I have a love for telling the stories of fictional characters, I cannot ignore the important stories that surround me in my everyday life. My neighbor, family member, friend, the cashier, CEO, and the nurse all have an important story to share, a virtual sign they could each raise above their heads to tell you who they are. To me, clothing is that sign you raise. It tells people a little bit about who you are and what you value. Clothing is the first thing people use to determine a first impression of you. I believe your clothing choice is important because I believe YOU are important, not because you’re trendy or fashionable, but because everyday you have a little more to share with the world. I’m here to ensure you’re set up to share the very best of yourself!
