orange

I have approximately 12 items of orange clothing in my closet. This might sound like a surprisingly high number considering how tricky orange can sometimes be to wear for most of us. But, if you know me, then you know this is not a high number at all. More than half of these items are specifically dedicated to the loves of my life, the Texas Longhorns. 🤘🏼 The remaining items, while not covered in logos, all consist of the same perfect hue of burnt orange. I can’t help myself when I see that color. I’m like a moth to a flame and I will never change. If something comes in that shade of orange then chances are my hand is reaching for my wallet.

Orange reminds me that I am connected to something that makes me happy. It fills me with excitement and makes me feel warm all over. Orange makes me long for the fall and causes me to feel uninhibited, like anything goes if it’s what I want. Orange is something that only the free-spirited and whimsical among us seem to get away with, and I want to join in on those kinds of lives.

The Go-To

This is my go-to style. It makes me feel comfortable with who I am. Plus, this rusty orange hue reminds me of fall and makes me want to stroll down a cobblestone path in the middle of October.

Don’t Be a Wuss

I’m loving a bold patterned linen pant! They’re actually really versatile and easy to dress up or keep casual. Plus, they allow for a little creativity and people assume you’re the adventurous type even if you’re a total wuss.

Over All Cuteness

Somedays you just need to throw on a comfy pair of overalls, some well-worn sneakers, and a ball cap. But nobody said you couldn’t still look super cute doin’ it.
